Guest Laylasmum Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Is there a light for this? It works OK but I wondered if there was a backlight as I can't obviously see it when it gets dark. There is nothing in the manual. Quote
paul.h Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 The Haynes manual shows 3 bulbs at the back of the panel - remove it by prising up the lower edge (slide credit card under) and pull it towards you. Quote
Guest Laylasmum Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Thanks - have just gone on ebay to get a haynes manual. Quote

Worth checking before you start pulling at the fascia... Quote

seefive Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Mine is 2003. ok - there is a button beside the radio which puts the panel lights into night driving mode. Check that first, then check the fuse marked "navigation system" in the handbook - this protects the central disply, even if you don't have sat nav. It's very unlikely that 3 dash bulbs have gone simultaneously Quote
