Locking

i bought my c3 desire last week, its a 2004 , the key locks all doors but when i go back to my car 15 minutes later i have to use the key in the lock to open it, also my clock stops working when im driving and my radio wont hold its memory, please help as this is starting to annoy me.

Check the car battery voltage, should be about 12.5 volts and 14 ish with the engine running. If the voltage is low, on starting our car, the clock/date needs resetting but the radio has still kept its stations. Our car could do with a new battery and of a larger capacity to cope with colder weather. Also maybe the battery in the key fob may be due replacement, have you tried the spare key fob ? Does the car unlock in different locations since sometimes ours seems to be affected by interference and the fob does not lock or unlock the car.

my keys lock and unlock but after a few minutes i have to put the key in the door to open the car , is there a memory fuse or somthing , have no knowledge of car mechanic's whatsoever
