hi , ive just brought a synergie 2000 reg petrol and have a problem with starting. i have put this post here hoping that somebody will know where it is meant to go and move it for me. my car does not like starting no matter what time of day it is. ecu relay clicks repeatedly but will only start after you hear the fuel rail fill up? have tried numerouse ecu relays also had another ecu about 6 months ago ,hope somebody can help thanks

Sounds more like a fuel problem than ecu from your description. Could be the fuel lines are draining back or maybe there is a pressure switch in the fuel rail which is faulty and it takes some time for the fuel system to be up to pressure before the engine is allowed to start. Your best option may be to visit your Citroen dealer who will have the diagnostic equipment to check the fuel presure.

he has been going through all the electricals today n when he moved the cables that go in to the fuse box the engine cut out! he took it all apart n cleaned the wires because they were coroded but now it wont start at all and there is no spark coming from the plugs
