Guest DAVIDT Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 Hi, Wondered if anyone can give me any advice on this one:I own a 1.9 Dispatch ( Y reg 2000 ) I have now been advised that I cannot use it in the London Emission Zone as from January 2012 !! According to the TFL website all vans registered before 2002 and over 1.2 ton unladen weight will have to pay a daily charge of a £100 or have a particulate filter fitter and certificated. This really is a bit of a joke, especially considering that the Van had a MOT yesterday and its emissions were only 73 particles per KM which is really low compared to other vans. Couple of questions before it take it further with TFL: Does anyone know the unladen weight of the 2000 Dispatch and also has anyone had any experience with these particulate filters ? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Quote
paul.h Posted April 1, 2011 Posted April 1, 2011 For a car, the registration V5C document gives the car's mass in service which is the unladen weight plus 75 kg to cover the weight of driver. You may also find the kerb weight in the handbook. Quote
