4 days ago the screen on my 07 C5 VTX+ 2.2HDI displayed suspension faulty and the service light came on. I cheched the fluid and it was correct. Also raised and lowered the suspension to check this was fine. The warning has been intermitent for the past few days and today I tried again to raise and lower the suspension but now nothing happens. Before I resort to my local dealer who has had nearly £2000 of me in two months can any one out there offer advice.
Regards Barry
Fault must be electric. Pump works, Fluid level OK, Car setles when car unlocked. I suspect a us sencor and will get under tomorrow to look. New bearing fitted to trailing arms two weeks ago but sensor on anti roll bar not disturbed. Will report back as it may help others.

Under car today and found electric conection on centre sphere broken and repaired with electrical tape. This must have been done by the local garage when replacing trailing arm bearings. Will take this issue up with them but in the meantime re did temporary repair with tape. system now working until new conector can be fitted.

usually it is a sensor and not mechanic. Should not be expensive, but you must fix.

It was definatly the plug from the wiring harnes into the sensor and had been taped up by a mechanic. Visited local dealer who informs that I cannot by the plug but would need the full loom for the vehicle rear at amjor expence. Told him I would visit a scrap yard and look for second hand. He then went into the workshop and retuned with a scrap loom and gave me the conector of that. A - to Citroen for not beeing able to supply a simple part but thank you the dealer who was helpful.
