classixuk Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 Can anyone help me with my Berlingo radio? I have an 03 model berlingo for which I have manged to buy a manual from eBay but I have no clue how to work the radio settings. I would like to program my favourite stations into the radio and replace the stations which are programmed already (it's difficult to tune into Scottish stations down here in Liverpool). Could someone tell me how I do this? Thanks. Quote
DickieG Posted April 22, 2006 Posted April 22, 2006 The button with the wavy line on controls the waveband ie FM/MW etc. The buttons with arrows on are for tuning up/down. When you have found the station you wish to listen to press one of the numbered buttons for a few seconds and it will memorise that station. RDS allows the radio to tune to alternative frequencies for the same station, TA turns on "Traffic announcements" from other radio stations. Quote

When the station has been memorised , you'll hear either a little 'beep' or a momentary pause in reception, depending on the unit and version fitted. Quote
benemja Posted April 25, 2006 Posted April 25, 2006 One thing to bear in mind once you have tuned it - if you are listening to the radio then decide to swap to CD you will be deafened..... Volume 12/13 to hear the radio at a comfortable level means when you swap to CD the panels vibrate with sound, and you have to quickly decrease to about 6 or 7..... silly me thought that the volume would come out the same whatever the medium playing....
