I have just received a PRO-BITZ tuning module for my citroen c3 1.6 diesel and having a problem locating the plug on the end of the common rail, I believe the battery box and air intake have to be removed, will this have any effect on the engine or radio management when I disconnect the battery

I would also like some pics of exactly where this plug is the diagram I have is rather obscure. -- Still waiting for an "expert" at £22.00 to get back to me on this subject -- Hope you techies can help !!

The handbook covers disconnecting and reconnecting the battery to help avoid electrical problems. It is something like - remove the ignition key and open the bonnet, close the doors then wait a few minutes for everything to shutdown. Disconnect the battery. Reconnect the battery, wait a bit, put the key in the ignition switch, wait a bit, turn it to position where radio could be turned on (if not in economy mode), wait a bit, turn to the position where the dash lights up, wait a bit, start the engine then move the windows down and up, reset the clock. The radio should not need anything doing.

Can not help with the plug location, maybe it will be in the Haynes manual. If you register on the service.citroen.com website (allowed as a member of a car club in the terms and conditions), you can see the parts diagrams that the dealers use which may show the plug.
