I have a 2001 C5 estate and ther eare two problems with the suspension.

Firstly the front suspension seems at time to ride high causing a loss of stability in the steering of the car. it does this intermitently (not that often) but i presume this is only going to get worse and i'd rather nip it in the bud.

Secondly on the rear suspension there is intermitant creaking when i go over bumps or when passengers get in or out of the car and when i park it up. it seems to be at it's worst in wet weather conditions. does something need greesing or replacing. Once again i'd rather nip it in the bud before it becomes a major problem.

Thanks Mark

Possibilities for the front could include a sticking height sensor fastened to the anti roll bar. Others have reported problems with these and is cured by spraying with something like WD40 to free it off. Have a search for this.

The rear could include problems with the suspension arm bearings - again this is on the site.
