Hello All,

Sorry to be the kind of person that just joins up to ask a question, I know its a little rude!

Ive just bought the mrs a 2002 C3 1.4i sx and didnt get a manual with it, I can live without it, but could do with a bit of instuctions on operating the computer... i.e how to reset and see the mileage after filling up and if there is an economy display. Also the petrol gauge is just 5 lights, does it give a more acurate reading than that?

Thanks in advance

Paul

Welcome to the forum, we all started by just asking a question so no problems there.

You can access/print pages from the car handbooks on the service.citroen website, also if you register (allowed as a member of a car club such as this, see the terms and conditions)you can also see the parts diagrams as used at the dealers and also purchase extra info. The handbooks only go back a few years but the oldest will not be too far out.

The car does not have a trip computer but the trip indication/total mileage button is at the right of the speedo. If this is held in the trip will reset to zero.

The fuel guage is about 1½ gallons for each bar so for ours is about 65 to 70 miles (2003 1.4 SX petrol). Should be 6 bars when full. The temperature gauge is similar and ours runs on 3 bars but in cold weather others report only 2 bars.

Lovely, Thank you mate, I will have a look at that and have a go at resetting the mileage. Ive never seen a fuel gauge like that before, thanks for your estimation, The L.E.D reminds me of the oldskool Astra GTE!!!

She loves the C3 though, might direct her on to here ;)

Thanks again mate
