Johnnymyboy Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 Hi, I hope someone can help !! I have a 52 plate berlingo multispace diesel and am trying to buy a starter motor for it - the only problem is the motor factors says there are two and I cannot see it well enough at all let alone get a bleedin' model number off of it - is there any other way to find out which starter motor it is please any one ?? Also what is the most common cause of air getting into the fuel (when left over night {parking it facing down hill helps with the bad starting problem} have checked the obvious places near filter but not there ?? Thanks for your help chaps, Johnnymyboy. Quote
paul.h Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 If you register on the service.citroen.com site (allowed as a member of a car club such as this), you can see the parts diagrams used by dealers so if you use your car's vin it will give you the correct part. There is also access to servicing but you have to pay for extras such as this. There are also Citroen manuals including the parts diagrams available off such as ebay which are the same as used by dealers and are worth having. If air ingress is the cause, it could be around the pipe connections on the filter, its lid seal, the priming pump (if there is one). Quote
