Hi all,

Hopefully someone can answer this one!

Is there any way to amend the maop display on the My Way sat nav so that it shows direction of travel rather than North at the top of the map?

I know being a bloke I should be able to turn the map around in my head but I do get confused at some junctions where there are several diverging roads!

Regards

From the Navi Drive handbook with our 2007 C5, use Menu / Map icon / Orient the map / select orient the map in the direction the vehicle is headed (or North or in perspective 3D).

HI, Thanks for the info. Unfortunately my menu listing doesn't have a map option. The system is a "My Way" sat nav on a 2010 C5 Tourer.

By now you, no doubt, know the answer, but still:

On my 2013 model when you zoom in the map with the "central" knob, it changes orientation.

When you use the central knob, that zooms you in and it changes from map view to road view, which is nice and easy to follow.

There is however an orientation option in the emyway menu which gives you "North"  ( if you are driving due east, the arrow will

travel from left to right across the screen) or "Vehicle Direction" (gives you a straight ahead view regardless of your direction)

Sounds like you have yours set on North

Hi,

I zoomed in as suggested and the change orientation option then appears on the options menu. Didn't show previously when I had looked for it.

I'd also been told by 2 separate Citroen dealers that you couldn't change the orientation of map on my version!

Now - just need to work out if there's any way to show track and title of the music being played through the USB adaptor from my ipod......

Thank for all of the advice - it's very much appreciated!

Regards

Richard
