dawn Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I hope someone will be able to help.I have a C5 exclusive & I cannot get the phone to work. I have tried two different sim cards and still nothing. It says put puk or pin but cannot find where to put it. I have been into Citroen and they were unable to help me. I am new to the forum site and have never used one before. So mt apologies if I am not doing this correctly. I am totally baffled. http://farm9.staticflickr.com/8365/8523505773_f78e374267_c.jpgimage by Parkesiemtb, on FlickrHere you go small button above makes it pop out need a cocktail stick or similar to press it. Gteuk Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 For a PUK code you would normally have to call your network provider of the sim, I do not know with mobile on a car though but my first port of call would be to phone customer services of the sim provider. Others mor knowledgable than me will be around soon I am sure BTW Welcome to the forums Quote
dawn Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 Hi Thankyou, I have the puk number but cannot find where to input it. In the menu list where it gives you the option to input something (not sure if its for the pin) it is greyed out so it doesnot allow you to select it. I am sure it did previously but after visiting Citroen dealership It has been like this. Going to go to a different dealership and see if they can help. Apart from this little problem I love the car. Gteuk Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 Well keep visiting here and let us know how you get on, I am sure one of the others can offer advice but I am generally the guy who makes the site look pretty, well not even that. I have no knowledge of cars but the rest of the team are your font of knowledge 1 Quote
coastline taxis Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 Thats a funny year you as thats when citroen introduced bluetooth to there cars so you mite be able to bluetooth it. if not and as yours has a sim slot i doubt it is tooth. Any way the built in phone is 2g so youl need to contact your sim provider and see what sim you have or buy a bluetooth kit for around £60. Quote
dawn Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 my sim is ok in my mobile its 3g. I ahve also bought a PAYT sim to see if that would work but still no joy. As it has sim slot I am guessing that there is no bluetooth (i think) as we were having a good look yesterday. Its baffling because it did allow pin/puk code to be entered and now it will not. I cannot remember how we got to the part where we could input the code. I have been into Citroen dealers and they were no use at all :/ Quote
coastline taxis Posted May 14, 2013 Posted May 14, 2013 You need a 2 g sim for the system to or a bluetooth adapter that goes behind the stereo Quote
