hi there im new on here i just bought myself a saxo vtr it is old but new for me as its the first european car i have owned im used to japs

Welcome to the forum.   I've also got a Saxo in the family fleet - but it's the 1.5 diesel.    I've owned it for 14 years and it's never been back to the garage - except for it's MOT certificate.   Great little cars.

only one thing that annoys me about it and thats the pedals being to small and the clutch being to high but got used to it now :)

Hello and welcome to the forumcccc

Saxos are very easy to keep on the road.we got no 1 son a saxo and its still going strong. There the same as a peugeot 106 so theres plenty parts around. only common fault weve come across is the rear axle bearing but whole axles can be picked up very cheaply and are a very very easy to fit
