Hello everybody,

 

 A new c3 owner signing in, i recently bought  C3 DESIRE  (03 plate) a great little car despite a few little problems which the dealers i bought her from, have assured me, will be taken care off tomorrow.

 

my name is Blue (as in the colour) i live in Lancashire with my partner & 3 kids, (2 boys and a girl). i am a chef by trade, and am also a member of a couple of professional costuming groups, we attend charity events around the country to help raise awareness and funds for numerous charities.

 

anyhow it is nice to be here, and i hope to make a few friends along the way.

   it's a 1.4 petrol engine, the only 2 issues i am having are, 1- everytime i fill up with fuel, the engine management light comes on, and stays on for days on end before going out, when the light is on the car lacks power, 2- the drivers front indicator light works now and then, it can go for a few weeks without working, then it will work for a day or two then stop working again, all other indicator lights work fine, with no problems

I would think these will be easy enough for the dealer to fix - the indicator could simply be a faulty bulb or connection and the fuel problem fault code will tell them what is wrong. The fault code will be stored until it has been deleted despite the light going off. The lack of power is probably the car going in to limp mode whilst the fault is present.  Ask them for the fault code for your records and put it on here.
