citrophile Posted March 2, 2014 Posted March 2, 2014 Have now removed the damaged condensor on my wife's C3 and am about to order a replacement to fit in the next few days. The double O ring seals on the two pipes seem to be OK but I'm not sure if I should use some sort of lubricant or sealant when I fit the new condensor to the existing pipes. If so, then what is it I should use? Cheers Rob Quote
paul.h Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 This is the wording from the Citroen service box manual:- Calibrated seal ( make "MANULLI").CAUTION : Respect the direction of fitting the seals (where illustrated).N.B. : Before fitting the seal, thoroughly lubricate the male and female contact faces as well as the seal itself with air conditioning compressor oil (SP10 oil). The connection retaining bolts are 6 Nm torque. Quote
citrophile Posted March 3, 2014 Author Posted March 3, 2014 Thanks Paul. Replacement condensor should be here in a day or so so I will be able to fit it on the weekend when I do the turbo. What would I do without Citroen to fill up my weekends... :D Quote
