albotek Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 (edited) Hi all, Anyone know if there is an online C8 workshop manual? I recently purchased a downloadable one for £9.99 but the files were so big (40 GB) they filled up my hard drive OK I have only got 80 GB but I don't want to upgrade my PC for another few months. The manual also only worked in a virtual machine environment, so I had to down load and install a version of that. Then I had to download another version that wasn't compatible with the files. I wasted 3 days of my life trying , in vain, to get it going. Need it be that complicated? I got onto the WS manual suppliers and they said for another £13 they would supply a DVD version. So I thought great! I will be able to browse the manual straight from the DVD. BUT NO!! you still have to transfer the same huge files I already downloaded to the hard drive anyway. So I am £23 out of pocket and still cant view the manual. I JUST WANT AN OLD FASHIONED BOOK!!! In my opinion a WS manual is better in paper form so you can have it next to you when examining the car? It's not that practical to take my desktop PC to the vehicle nor will my C8 fit into my office . Any way if I could find an online version that I can browse through that would suffice I DON'T MIND PAYING FOR ACCESS!! Regards, Dave Edited April 25, 2014 by albotek Quote
paul.h Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 If you are ok with a bit of French and possibly using a dictionary, the RTA manuals are as good as Haynes. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rta-669-2-Peugeot-807-Citro%C3%ABn/dp/2726866913/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1398433152&sr=8-1-fkmr1&keywords=citroen+c8+RTA+manual Otherwise, the Citroen Service box ones from such as ebay supplied on 3 dvds and depending on how you put it on your PC, will take about 5Gb if you use the dvds to display the diagrams.
