New Citroen Owner - Radio Not Working

I have just purchased a Citroen Xsara 2002 model and i am fairly pleased with it in general it runs well.

I do have a niggly problem that i cannot solve  in as much radio does not work and there is no display for the radio on the dash.

 

i have check the fuse and that appears ok plugs at the back of radio seems ok and connected alright so if anyone can advise i would be grateful.

May be you could check the plug at the back that there is a 12 volt supply to indicate if it is the radio or its supply that is at fault. There may also be a fuse inside the radio that could be checked.
