Citoen Xsara Picasso Exclusive - Replacement Key Fob Problem

I am new to the site and wondered if anyone could help. My blade broke in my key fob so bought a new case and transferred all internal electronics to the new shell, but now the buttons wont unlock or lock the car. Any idea?

If you removed the key fob battery it may need initialising to the car and it will say how to do this in the handbook after battery replacement. If you did not, then maybe the case buttons are not lining up properly (just a guess) so you could try your old case again.
