Key Fob Wont Lock Car.

I have a 53 plate 1.6i SX 5dr hatchback,when i unlocked it this morning with the fob all was ok.When it came to locking it again when i press the lock button the central locking activates,a beep sounds from the car and all locks pop open again,it is the same thing that happens if a door or the boot is open when trying to lock the car but have checked all doors and the boot several times,even checked the bonnet!If i use the key in the lock central locking works ok.Can anyone help me with this?Will be very grateful if they can.

If this happens in only one location it may be due to radio interference. We had it on a few occasions on our C3 and our Xsara Picasso and possibly 30 minutes later would be ok again. Other times the key fob would not unlock the doors and the key would have to be used.
