winnie Posted May 18, 2014 Posted May 18, 2014 C5 2001 auto estate 2lt.I have given the car a good run and if I remember rightly, on automatics there is a kick down so I am traveling at 50 mph and I floor the accelerator, after about 3 to 5 seconds it decides to drop a gear but dose seem a bit on the sluggish side.As I am getting on in years I'm not to worried but would like to know if this would be right for an old girl, the car that is.Pat Quote
winnie Posted May 20, 2014 Author Posted May 20, 2014 My husband thinks it is ok, he said I am to gentle in putting my food down on the accelerator. On the dashboard just under and to the right of the radio there is a button with a picture of a pad lock, what dose that do? Quote
paul.h Posted May 20, 2014 Posted May 20, 2014 The padlock button will lock/unlock the doors. If you hold it in, it should activate auto locking once the car reaches 6 mph, keeping the doors locked until a door is opened from the inside by a door handle or the dash button. Quote
