Hello everyone I have just purchased a second hand citroen c5 2.0hdi tourer which is a 2010 model. It is not our main car as I bought myself a new audi rs3 last year and my wife has an audi TT roadster. The reason we bought the citroen is we have both taken up cycling and I didn't fancy sticking a bike rack on the RS and the wife's car is a no no. It is a bit of an extravagance but she will be used for other jobs as well. Anyway after scouring the country testing vauxhall insignias, ford mondeos, etc while trawling the internet spotted the citroen at a motor trader only 30 miles away. Well after the test drive I was hooked and the deal was done. It is strange really because in the 90's I drove bx gti 16 valves one black then replaced with a grey one then I replaced that with a xantia 16 valve vsx. Then I bought my first audi and have stuck with the brand since. Anyway now I am reacquainted with the citroen brand I must say it does feel a quality product and a steal second hand

Welcome to the forum.

We have had a few Citroens over the last 9 years and I have been impressed with them. Reliable, low cost, decent quality, do not rust and the C5 one of the more comfortable cars and good for towing. After some time you may end up using your C5 more than the other cars.

must say I am impressed with the comfort of the c5 especially after the hard ride on the audi's mind you that rs3 of mine is an awesome thing to drive 370 bhp four wheel drive and a lovely five cylinder engine it's my mid life crisis vehicle
