Welcome to the form.

A search has brought up details of the recall, apparently a weld on the rear axle can fail causing the car to lose control. You should take your car to a Citroen dealer to be checked/repaired free of charge.http://www.recalluk.com/recalls/cars/citroen-c1-cross-member-recall-2014.aspx

How bad is the dent and where is it ? To see if the dent can be repaired anywhere I would check the finance paperwork. If you are claiming off your insurance, they may want you to go to their repairer which will save them money but the benefit to you may be a longer guarantee of the repair. However, you do not need to do this. Depending on the damage, you may be better using a Citroen dealer if it is not too expensive, since they will know your car better and make sure it is repaired with the right parts. We had a C4 repaired following a crash a few years ago by our insurer's repairer and they did not do a thorough job and after I checked it and found faults it went back for the missing work/bits to be done - so I would not use them again.

Looking at the recall, your car must have been made in July 2013, so I would not skimp on the repair and having it done at a Citroen dealer will also help maintain any warranty.
