john h Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Getting warnings on the dash display; antipollution fault, low engine oil pressure, handbrake fault all accompanied by temporary loss of power, just had a fuel rail sensor diagnosed and rectified but its the long term reliability that has me worried, moreso when my 3 month warranty runs out, apart from that its a great car [2008 c4 picasso 5 seater] trouble is I'm its 5th owner, wonder if these faults have been the reason for that. Grandc4 Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 5th owner? Not far off one owner a year! It sounds like that's why it's getting passed on :( hopefully you get it sorted and it isint too much hassle althought it sounds like it's already causing you a lot of hassle :( Quote
john h Posted June 13, 2014 Author Posted June 13, 2014 Also explains why its a low mileage car, Quote

john h Posted June 15, 2014 Author Posted June 15, 2014 Wife would never forgive me if I did that, only just managed to offload the c3 Picasso, still got 2 month of warranty left and googling the companys email feedback reveals they are in regular touch with a firm supplying turbo parts so hope if its turbo related they will do the right thing Quote
salouboo Posted October 6, 2014 Posted October 6, 2014 Hi John Just wondered if you had any joy in sorting this problem as I have exactly the same. I have owned my 09 picasso for 12 months and it was family owned from new (bar 2000 miles). It has for for my time and sometime before come up with anti pollution system warning and a variety of others and intermittently cuts out no matter how fast you are going! it can go months between cut outs but is currently having a very bad time. Most of the time the anti pollution system fault doesn;t cause running probs and goes off again and can stay off for weeks. Now it is on/off daily and is doing odd things re the warnings. If anyone has had a similar experience and got it sorted please let me know as I am worried it will be a hefty repair bill for electronic problems. Cheers, Salouboo Quote
john h Posted October 6, 2014 Author Posted October 6, 2014 Selling garage eventually overhauled the EGR then after consulting a specialist changed one of the fuse boxes, believe it was the one on top of the battery or near to that, so far now had 3 months of trouble free motoring Quote
