Am going to buy a manual before the event, rather than wait till I need it.

My French is minimal where as my wife had a reasonable command of the language some years ago.

Am I correct in thinking the RTA version is more informative that the Haynes, also as my C5 estate is the 2006 2000cc 136BHP model, which I think its referred to as the face lift model, which RTA do I buy?

Thanks

The 2006 2.0 hdi should be 138 bhp. If only buying one, then it should be the Haynes manual and then no need to worry about the odd translation. I have the RTA, Haynes and also the Citroen service box which goes on a pc, which is better than the others since it includes the parts diagrams and covers all the Citroens and the bits that Haynes say are too difficult. The RTA one for the mark 2 C5 is identified as from 09/2004 and covers the 1.6 and 2.0 hdi only, ref CIP 690.1. The RTA has better photos and diagrams than the Haynes.
