paul.h Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Welcome to the forum. If you can not hear the fuel pump in the tank when you first turn the ignition key then maybe it or its fuse is faulty. You could try using something like easy start sprayed in to the air ducting to the manifold to see it it starts on that - if so then check the pump fuse and then check for 12 volts at the pump electrical connector - if these are ok then it may be the pump that needs replacing. When I had a pump fail on a Saab these were the checks done by the RAC. When turning the engine over if the rpm is shown then this was also said to confirm the crank sensor was ok. Quote
