benzinabrera Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Hello people, im in the process of repairing my girls citroen c3 mkII, i need to replace the dashboard and to be honest im at wits end with this thing, ive taken dashes out of several cars so i have the basic knowledge of what is required to do a dash removal but this car has me looking stupid, i have taken out all vents, trim panels and electronics and loosened all the screws visible but i still cant seem to get the dash out, the bottom feels loose but it feels like the top part is solid, can anybody help me or point me in the direction of a good guide for C3 or DS3 dash removal? Thank you :) Quote
citrophile Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Are you following the instructions in a car repair manual, such as Haynes. There are often bolts or fixings which aren't always obvious from just looking. When I took the dash out of my C5 there were some bolts behind the wiper motor mechanism which I would never have seen if I hadn't read it in a manual.Rob Quote
benzinabrera Posted July 5, 2014 Author Posted July 5, 2014 unfortunately i have no manual but i will have a look and see if i can find bolts such as that Quote
homerv6 Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 I have a haynes manual so will take a look for you. Will take a look at my c3 too Quote
paul.h Posted August 9, 2014 Posted August 9, 2014 This is asking about the 2009 on C3 for which there is not yet a Haynes manual. Also the original poster has not been on the site for over a month so it is likely the job has already been completed. Quote
