Howiec Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Hi all, I have a C5 tourer 08 2.0l hdi. Just had a fault appear which says low engine oil pressure warning and the engine stops running but does then re-start and runs ok. This is the 2nd time its happened in two days. Could this possibly be a problem with the oil pump failing. Any ideas would be welcome . Thanks Howard. Quote
paul.h Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 If it was the oil pump it would be all the time but obviously check the oil level. However, this appears to be a common problem on the new C5 and needs a new engine fusebox to fix it. See item 33 in the Common Problems post http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/20279-common-problems-rev-2462014/ Quote

JohnMol Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 Hi same thing happened to my 08 2.0L hdi tourer about a week ago and then again today - needs sorting could be dangerous. I`ll have a look at the fuse box tomorrow and maybe contact main dealer. Thanks for the info John Quote
