2.2 Exclusive Rear Suspension?

Hi I have recently got a 2.2 hdi exclusive with sport suspension, this is my second c5 exclusive the last being the 110hp hdi. But if I have three people in the back the suspension bottoms out fot the first 10 feet or so before it raises? It is a 2004 with full service history looks like front is higher than rear??

Possibly the rear height sensor is a bit seized and could do with some exercise by raising/lowering the suspension a few times. Check for leaks from the rear suspension struts. Also check the fluid level.

The suspension does not raise itself to a correct level until you take your foot off the brake, so for a good few seconds after driving off it is sitting too low.

In a separate post, delart has found the left rear suspension strut has a torn gaiter, so possibly that strut may have a leak if dirt has damaged the seals.
