Hi all. Just picked up my C4 picasso 1.6 VTR+ this morning. It returned 69.6mpg on the 40 mile drive home.

I just hope that it turns out to be as reliable as my last Citroen. A ZX Avantage estate. I did 60,000 miles in it and the only thing that ever needed doing was a slightly leaky rear wheel cylinder. Obviously tyres and pads as well, but you don't really count them as they are expected wear and tear.

Welcome to the forum.

I guess your car is a diesel with the fuel economy mentioned. You will need to have frequent oil/filter changes at least as in the handbook using the correct oil to help the turbo last. Also do not turn the engine off as soon as the car stops, let it idle for a while for the turbo to slow down - it may mention this in the handbook somewhere but is normal practice if there is a turbo.
