paul.h Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 Welcome to the forum. How much did the dealer want and did they give you the part no. which would help when sourcing one elsewhere ? There is one on ebay for £50 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2010-Citroen-C-Crosser-2-2-HDI-Oil-Cooler-/271513520664 Quote
danielhill1 Posted September 30, 2014 Author Posted September 30, 2014 that is not the cooler we need. its for the gearboil oil apparently as its auto. nearly 700 quid from citroen Quote
paul.h Posted September 30, 2014 Posted September 30, 2014 Looking at the parts diagrams and without using your car VIN, the only gearbox oil cooler I could find that is not built in to the gearbox is Citroen part no. 227567 and from citroencarparts.net is £659. This is listed against a C Crosser with engine 2.4 litre. Faced with such a high price I would be looking at possibly a repair or a company that can make or supply them. A search brought up many companies such as this one http://www.rickettsradiators.co.uk/Oil_Coolers.html but I have never used them so can not make a recommendation. The other option may be to claim on the car insurance for the repairs. Quote
