frankbooy Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 Does anyone know where the blower control until is located? Mine only works on setting 4 so I guess the so called blower resistor is broken? Any suggestions appreciated! Frank Quote
paul.h Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 To get to the resistor the sound insulation has to be removed from under the dash (driver's side). It looks to be at the left on the heater unit and it is held by a single bolt and has 4 wires going in to it. The Citroen part no. may be 6436C4. Quote
frankbooy Posted December 17, 2015 Author Posted December 17, 2015 The resistor ( in reality a temperature sensitive fuse) is in the connector that brings power to the blower unit. This is located on the passenger side behind the glove box and very tedious it is to get to. I finished up taking out the front seat for more comfortable access! The fuse is spot welded in place. I managed to crimp a new one in place which I bought from Maplins for a couple of pounds. Quote
paul.h Posted December 18, 2015 Posted December 18, 2015 Thanks for getting back to us. Since you are doing your own work on your car it may pay you to get the Citroen service box manuals. These include the procedures and parts diagrams and wiring diagrams for all Citroens on 3 dvds to put on your pc and can be found on ebay. Quote
