Hello all,  I have a 2005 Dispatch 2.0 hdi.  Owned 6 years with no issues up until a week ago.  Driving home the engine check light came on and then 10 minutes later no power.  The engine was still running but no connection from the accelerator pedal (would not rev when pressed).  Had it recovered to my mechanic, he put it on his diagnostics and 7 unrelated faults came up.  He consulted a Citroen specialist they reset the fault changed the battery and some suspect wiring.  5 different faults came up. The Citroen mechanic has not seen this before and cant see why the light cannot be reset.  He has run the van for 2 days, runs and drives no issues they just cant get the check engine light to reset.  I now have the van back but I am a little reluctant to drive it in case it fails me again.  Has anyone seen this before or has any advise please. Thanks

Welcome to the forum.

If the check engine light can not be deleted then the fault(s) that put it on must still be there, but possibly it is not something that affects the performance or puts it in limp mode, such as the exhaust catalyst needing replacing.

Can you put the fault codes on here so we can see what they mean/whether somebody else has seen them.

Hello thanks for the reply, the codes are generic and are:

P0560 - system voltage

P0190 - Fuel rail pressure sensor -  A circuit

P0235 - Turbo sensor - A circuit

P0120 - Throttle sensor - A circuit

P0220 - Throttle sensor - B circuit.

They would not seem to be related but possibly could be a bad connection somewhere such as on the ecu or an earth point or maybe the wiring repairs got the connections wrong.

See if there are any more comments.

On here on the Petrol Diesel and LPG Injection section those codes are listed as:

P0120 Throttle Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Malfunction

P0220 Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch B Circuit Malfunction

P0190 Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

P0235 Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Malfunction

P0560 System Voltage Malfunction
