ric_18 Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 Hello My rear wheel bearings (inner and outer) seem to be open style tapered roller bearings and all the ones online are sealed ?Have they upgraded or am i missing something here? Car=1.4 petrol 05 c2Thanks any advice appreciated Quote
paul.h Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 The drum bearings appear to be one outer shell with 2 inner races which may look like taper bearings but with the hub nut being torqued to 200 Nm (lubricated) will not be taper ones. The inner races will be a loose fit until the hub nut is tightened. Quote

paul.h Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 You could use your VIN in the parts diagrams - these are a free service on the service.citroen site, register as another professional and a member of the Citroen Owners Club. Use your VIN (VIS) in the top left to find your car. http://service.citroen.com/do/changerParametres The rear wheel bearings are under Mechanical / Suspension assembly / Rear axle. Like many forums, this site has a lot of members but most only want help with their problems, leaving just a few regulars who are able to help others based on their experience, free time and if they have access to information. There are other forums specific to a particular model, this one covers all Citroens but is most popular for the C5. Quote
