M0JFK Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I have a friend who got the SX Auto 2.2 (I think) on a 03 plate. When we was talking about the C5 he told me his clocks was stuck, the speed ohmmeter is stuck right over to the right side on 150 mph (or something like that out of memory) and the rev counter barely moves when you rev it up. Any idea folks??? any reset procedure or are they just naft out clocks??? Quote
paul.h Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 It could be the little motors in them need replacing or the needles may have come loose and need pulling off and sticking back in the 0 mph position with the engine running and about 800 rpm. See this topic http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/15043-speedometer-repairs/ Beware that if the speedo cluster is replaced with one from another car, then your car will take on the mileage of the higher of your car or the one on the replacement speedo cluster.
