juanmata09 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Hey guys I've got a C2 code with beige leather seats, the seats should be electric but they don't work, seems strange that both are not working which makes me think it's a fuse? So i'm thinking this weekend, i'll get these working once and for all but in order to do this I need to find the fuse, the handbook doesn't tell you where it is and I've asked 2 different Citroen garages and they don't know, one said the c2 doesn't come with leather seats until I explain it's a ltd edition and another one looked on google which I've already done. So firstly, is this a common fault with the code? Secondly, are there any checks I should do first if this is common? Thirdly, where is the fuse so I can start testing if the seats are even getting power. Thanks Quote
paul.h Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Welcome to the forum. All I could easily find on electric seats was that the front ones are electrically heated (need engine running for this to work) but no mention of electric adjustments. Have a look in the car handbook and it shows the 2 usual fuseboxes - in the dash and under the bonnet. If it shows a spare fuse location in the dash one and you find in your car there is a fuse there it may be for the seats - it will be about 25 amps (based on one in a C5). If not then look to see if there are any additional fuses in this area which could be for the seats. If you do not find anything then have a look in the engine fusebox. Quote
juanmata09 Posted February 27, 2015 Author Posted February 27, 2015 Hi Paul Yes, it's just electric seats. I've gone through the hand book and it doesn't mention about the heated seats fuse. I'll take another look and see if I can spot it. Quote
