Here we have for sale my 2006 Citroen C3 XTR. - £2895

The car has the 1.4 HDi turbo engine with a manual gearbox, has only covered 48000 miles.
MOT is until the 2nd October 2015, due to new legislation the tax will have to be re-applied for when sold but this car only cost £30 a year due to the emissions.
Being it is an XTR model it has a few thing different to standard C3's, The black bumpers and wheel arch extensions, fixed roof bars & full length electric glass roof.
The engine, turbo and gearbox are all good as are all the tyres (It has a full size steel spare and locking wheel nuts)
If you have not seen the boot of one of these cars it has a split level boot floor so you can put items in the bottom and a 2nd floor folds down from the back seats so you can load more on top.
There is a small amount of damage to the front bumper which was there when i purchased it and i have put a photograph up to show this.
The car has a small issue in that very randomly the engine light will come on (The EGR Valve has been replaced) This does not in any way affect either the performance of the engine or it's emissions, the light will go off again after a period of time.
I have had this checked by a garage (And can provide documentary evidence of this) who have advised the car displays a fault code P0400 Air Induction System - This is a common issue with these, there is no fault as such as the fault code does not state what is wrong, You can Google this and it tells you in depth what it is all about - As I have stated it does NOT in any way affect the running or emissions of the car in any way.
Why am i selling this - I don't want to basically, but both my children now drive and have cars of their own, both my wife and I live within walking distance of where we work so we both do not need a car - The only kicker is my wife is only able to drive an automatic due to a condition with her knees and as mine is the manual I have no choice but to let it go (Trust me i would not be selling it if i did not have to !)
As you can see from the photo the car is clean and tidy and has been well cared for by me.
The car is very economical to run (I have been getting 50+ MPG round town with it) but it is also quite lively when you need it to be due to the turbo engine.
I have been totally open and honest about this car - I have priced this car to sell as I now need it out of the way - Any questions at all please get in touch and i will respond as quickly as I can - The car is in Hertfordshire where it will need to be collected from and is sold as seen.
Payment will be cash on collection please.
I can upload more photos or e-mail them if you want - Just leave me a message - Any questions again just leave a message.
Many thanks

On here fault code P0400 gives:

P0400 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Flow Malfunction

So it could be something simple such as a small split in one of the actuator vacuum hoses.

I had it checked over and they did check the pipes, - It is so random - it comes on for 1 journey every couple of weeks then goes off again
