Hi all,
I have a 2002 2ltr 110bhp TD C5 estate that suffers from poor fuel economy ( 28-33mpg ) and reduced power ( only 60bhp at the wheels as confirmed by a rolling road ).
I bought a Lexia 3 and connected it to the car and it threw up a few P faults - mainly temporary which I have cleared and a permanent one which is:-

'P0110 inlet temperature signal can value not plausible'

Would this cause these problems and I'm not sure what the fault actually means

I understand that this is the IAT Sensor which is located in the MAF sensor??, so I changed the MAF for a brand new one a Lucas one and I still have the same fault, I have checked the wiring for chafing etc and cleaned the terminal plug and going as far as removing all the black tape covering from the loom to where the cables go into the Ecu.

I changed the turbo boost pressure sensor by accident for a brand new one to no avail, the turbo boosts correctly and I have fitted a new inter cooler and the battery is good.

I'm at a bit of a loss on this so any help would be appreciated.

Thanks very much
Andy

In the Petrol Diesel & LPG Injection section on here, P0110 is given as

P0110 IAT Circuit Malfunction

If you still have this fault after clearing the original fault code, then possibly the Lucas MAF you have fitted is not exactly the same as the original part that you would get from a Citroen dealer.
