Hi

This is my first post ever so will be quick - I have a Citroen C3 1.4 VTR+ (2010 reg) and the N/S wing mirror is growing a bit loose at the base, where it is attached to the door. In order to park the car in the garage overnight, I am constantly having to push the wing mirror in when I park the car and pull it out, when I reverse the car out. As a result, it has got slightly loose. I seem to remember with the Citroen Picasso that I previously owned, you could access the screws to the wing mirror base by removing the cover to the wing mirror from outside etc. Is this the same with this car ?

thanks in anticipation

Welcome to the forum.

The door mirror is held on the door by a single bolt/nut which can only be accessed by removing the internal door card. To do this unclip the internal handle cover and opening handle surround, unclip the window switch, remove the door card top plastic section, remove the handle bolts and the bolts around the outside edge of the card, then unclip the door card and pull it towards you and then up to remove it.

I do not think it would be too difficult but you are likely to be better taking it to a Citroen dealer since they will be familiar with the car, will have clips to replace any that could break as the door card is unclipped and are likely to have seen this problem before and should not take too long. If doing it yourself, a trim removal tool would help when unclipping the bits - as an example http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/181069180121?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&chn=ps&device=c&rlsatarget=&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0-L&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108
