rob271257 Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Hi, Bit of a long shot! Some one has removed the number 1 from my daughters C1 and she is keen to replace it rather than de-badge. I wondered if anyone has a spare number 1 that they dont need (having de badged etc). The C and 1 are £12.50 from the dealer which seems a bit excessive (its her first car and she has just started work) We have tried the local breakers with no luck. Grateful for Any help Happy to pay postage etc Cheers Rob Brob271257@aol.com Quote
paul.h Posted May 21, 2015 Posted May 21, 2015 Welcome to the forum. There is a Citroen breakers at the end of this topic that may be worth a try http://www.citroen-owners-club.co.uk/citroen/topic/22652-c5-v6-problems-and-fixes-exhaust-heater-flap-motor-air-bag-ecu/ You would need to check a used letter is in good condition since any pegs may break off and the chrome could discolour. rob271257 Posted May 22, 2015 Author Posted May 22, 2015 Update: Unfortunately 'Mark' at the breakers had no Citroen C1's at the yard but he seems a really helpful guy; so still looking. Rob B Quote
paul.h Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 The Citroen part no. for the C1 seems to be 8665NR and from citroencarparts.net is £10.05. They are a Peugeot dealer (so sell genuine Citroen parts) in Barrow but there might be postage on top of this. http://www.citroencarparts.net/?s=8665NRA search on other sources gives Perrys on ebay at £14.97 and other possible high price sellers. You could also find your dealer will give a discount if you are a regular customer. If a part needs to be ordered and is not required the next day, then the dealer can get parts at a lower price so any possible discount can be greater. Quote
