Neil-BX Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 My alarm keeps going off for no apparent reason in my 2009 C5I changed the car battery just in case, but no success. I used my Lexia3 and it has repeatedly reported Siren disconnected. During the LEXIA connection it was reporting that the CANBUS cannot see the siren and failed any Siren tests. I would check the wiring if I can work out where the Siren is? (nearside wheelarch?, nearside engine bay,...?)Anyone any ideas? Thanks Quote
paul.h Posted May 24, 2015 Posted May 24, 2015 Welcome to the forum. The parts diagrams suggest the siren may be on or inside the front left (UK passenger side) wing, fastened to a bracket. Quote
Neil-BX Posted May 25, 2015 Author Posted May 25, 2015 Found it, it is in front of the battery tray. You need to take the battery out to get access to the wiring connector, but at least the alarm is now silent. Quote
