Tezb Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 Can someone confirm or not if this is a common problem.Car is a 2010 DS3 HDI DSport, when i start it it feel like the whole engine is moving back and forth and the whole car wobbles bad, once started its not that bad but you can still feel the car wobbling while in tick over.I am thinking more on the lines of engine mounts ???? if so any idea on cast to replace them inc labour ???Any help appreciated.Tez Quote
paul.h Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Welcome to the forum. How many miles has the car done ? You can check the engine mounts, particularly the one at the back but you should also consider if the dual mass flywheel needs replacing - try an internet search for symptoms of failure to check such as juddering, vibration, rattling noise. Maybe the tickover rpm is too low due to a fueling fault or an air fault such as a hose coming off or leaking. Engine mounts are maybe £30 each (3 in total if they do all need replacing) but if the flywheel and clutch need replacing the parts could be around £400 and several hours labour depending on the engine. If a fueling/air flow fault such as an injector then costs will depend on the fault. Before spending any money on parts I would get a Citroen dealer to check the car but you could have a look around the engine to see if any of the air supply hoses or ducting are disconnected. I have deleted your other similar topic so any replies are all together. Quote
