do I need to get my rear wheels balanced I have a vibration through the steering at 65    75 mph  bought the car with new tyres all round ,found out who supplied the tyres and asked to rebalance they did the front ,but the kid on the machine said his machine was playing up and but carried on said the back do not need doing as its front wheel drive sounds like bs to me, its  still vibrating.

The rears should be balanced although I am not sure if they would affect the steering. If you get the vibration when braking or lightly touching the brake pedal, the rear brakes should be checked as well as the fronts, I once found a steering vibration when braking was caused by a slightly oval rear brake drum.

If the machine was not working you would be better going somewhere else.
