tampenny Posted July 26, 2015 Posted July 26, 2015 Please guide me on this good Citroen people, when it rains, which it has been doing quite frequently of lateall four door windows automatically close, now this is generally speaking a good idea except when my dogshow their heads poking out of them,in the handbook it states that to disable this function i would need totake it to a Citroen dealer........surprise surprise !!!i have got me a lexia diag thing hoping this will be the answerbut have absolutely no idea how to use it,any help appreciated, thank you Quote
paul.h Posted July 27, 2015 Posted July 27, 2015 I would have thought the anti pinch would prevent the windows closing with your dogs heads in the way. You could check this with something else such as a rolled up paper that would not damage the glass. Quote
tampenny Posted August 2, 2015 Author Posted August 2, 2015 Paul, have checked with the news paper and anti pinch worksonly one day it may not and i cannot trust the lives of my dogsto a car that is notorious for electrical faults, spoke with a number of local Citroen dealers and even theyweren't 100% on how to disable it....!!! paul.h Posted August 2, 2015 Posted August 2, 2015 Maybe the electrical connector on the rain sensor could be unplugged to stop it working. Quote
MikeTC5r Posted August 4, 2015 Posted August 4, 2015 (edited) Have you tried setting the wipers to manual (as opposed to auto)? It might turn off the window auto-close function also. Otherwise, perhaps there's a deeply buried option in Diagbox/Lexia to change? Edited August 4, 2015 by MikeTC5r Quote
tampenny Posted October 4, 2015 Author Posted October 4, 2015 Otherwise, perhaps there's a deeply buried option in Diagbox/Lexia to change? that is exactly where it is, took some finding but job is now done, thank you again. Quote
