coastline taxis Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 when you say it wont start do you mean that the engine turns over but wont fire up or that the engine wont turn over at all. When was it last serviced and have you recently had any work done to the car Quote

When was it last serviced and have you recently had any work done to the carThanx for the Reply Coastline Taxis Sorry car turns over but wont startAnd no not had any work done on it Car was running great then we had the EML and the ESP/ASR lights on and this just kept going on and off when it felt like itSome said it could be brake switch and wiring (that never fixed anything) bought new from Citroen with modded wiring loomThen it was said it could be the Fuse Board which is common on these (so people say) same again NewThen got a New Battery and then today got a new Crank Speed/Position Sensor Had all the wiring apart and took out of the plastic fuse box just to check for splits or kinks but everything looks finePut battery on and the car started this done it for 6/7 starts then it would not start and now it just turns over Edited August 18, 2015 by R1-Mini Quote
Johndouglas Posted August 18, 2015 Posted August 18, 2015 Do you have a volt meter to test the battery. It should give a reading of 12.6 or 7 to be in good nick. Also when you changed the battery did you do the change over correctly? Citroens/Peugeots have a recommended procedure for disconnecting a battery which seems tedious but is necessary. Quote
