Hi all
I Really need some Big Help Please
Starting to Lose my Mind now and so is the Mrs which is Never Good
We have a C4 Coupe 2004 2.0 16v Hdi VTS
The has a mind of its own, sometimes starts 5 or 6 times after battery has been off then it wont start at all, took battery off still wont start
We have the EML and esp/asr lights on
Had it on Lexia and gave us some Faults and a lot of People have said it could be the Brake switch and Citroen Cable Mod so went and Bought them
Then after a lot of People looking and throwing ideas around we went and got a new Engine Bay Fuse Board (still the same) But after fitting we got some more Errors and so i changed the Crank Position/speed Sensor (and still no good)
Here are the other errors we have now
Please can someone Help get our car running again Please
Errors are
U1118,U2001,P1693,P2670,P0337
Thanx All like emoticon

when you say it wont start do you mean that the engine turns over but wont fire up or that the engine wont turn over at all. When was it last serviced and have you recently had any work done to the car

Thanx for the Reply Coastline Taxis

Sorry car turns over but wont start

And no not had any work done on it

Car was running great then we had the EML and the ESP/ASR lights on and this just kept going on and off when it felt like it

Some said it could be brake switch and wiring (that never fixed anything) bought new from Citroen with modded wiring loom

Then it was said it could be the Fuse Board which is common on these (so people say) same again New

Then got a New Battery and then today got a new Crank Speed/Position Sensor

Had all the wiring apart and took out of the plastic fuse box just to check for splits or kinks but everything looks fine

Put battery on and the car started this done it for 6/7 starts then it would not start and now it just turns over

Do you have a volt meter to test the battery. It should give a reading of 12.6 or 7 to be in good nick. Also when you changed the battery did you do the change over correctly? Citroens/Peugeots have a recommended procedure for disconnecting a battery which seems tedious but is necessary.

Yes battery is fine at 12.8 volts and then when engine is running goes up to 14.3

And very careful about taking the battery on and off as had a 307 and learned the hard way as the mrs had a the aux belt go on her and she never told me until it ran out of juice and it cut out on her, and that spike the bsi

But everything was fine up to the point the EML and ESP/ASR lights come on and we have all these errors
