stevestoys Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 Hi again. I want to add led daytime running lights to my citroen c8 2.2 hdi. Rather than drag wires out of cab is there anywhere that's live on ignition under the bonnet that I can tap into. ? Somebody must have done this mod already. Also I'm useless pm very detailed explanation or photos would be very helpful. Cheers in advance Quote
Johndouglas Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 To send a personal message to another forum member click the envelope in the black bar at the top of the page. Next go right and click "compose new". Enter the name of the person you're mailing. Make sure you type it exactly as written. Type the subject then the message. Click "Send". When you have a reply, there will be a red marker against the envelope. If you move along the black bar for a couple of inches and click the arrow against your name, besides other functions, you can also get to the message system from there Quote
stevestoys Posted September 15, 2015 Author Posted September 15, 2015 What's that got to do with finding a 12v supply ? ? ? Quote
Simple Posted September 15, 2015 Posted September 15, 2015 you wrote "I'm useless pm very detailed explanation" PM means private message which is a facility this site offers!!! Quote
stevestoys Posted September 16, 2015 Author Posted September 16, 2015 Sorry I'm using my mobile. It should say. I'm useless so a very detailed description. My auto spelling did it lol sorry. Ps I still need 12 volt feed if anybody knows Quote
Simple Posted September 16, 2015 Posted September 16, 2015 Where are these lights to be placed? on top of the car, inside the car or on the grill? are you talking about fog lights? You can buy LED lights to replace the current bulbs, Quote
stevestoys Posted September 16, 2015 Author Posted September 16, 2015 I'm going to fit in the front bumper. They need to be wired pm they are lit with ignition on. Most modern cars have them as standard. Daytime running lights. Led strip. So I need a 12v feed from under bonnet that's live when engine running or ignition on. You must have noticed new cars with them on Quote
