Randombloke Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 Pull off the top plastic cover for the engine and look for leaks from the pump or low pressure returns on the injectors. Quote
Johndouglas Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 Or from around the injectors themselves. If so, the injector needs to be removed, the seat cleaned up and a new seal put in. It's a common problem on the 1.6 engine. Quote

Johndouglas Posted October 17, 2015 Posted October 17, 2015 On the older 1.6HDIs the screws holding the injectors tended to stretch in use, thus loosening the injector and allowing it to leak. You could try a 7mm allen key on them and see if they tighten - but not too much. Loosen the bolt, tighten to 4Nm+65degrees. The new seals and washers are not very expensive and one could be done within the hour. Worst part is cleaning off the deposit. Quote
