docshoog Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Hello all. After visiting several of the forums here, it's obvious that this is the place that I need to be. The accumulated knowledge on this site is quite amazing and is something that I'm hoping I can call on.I have just recently purchased a 2008 C5 vtr+hdI 4dr. And although I am more than happy with the way the car drives, acceleration, comfort, looks etc. it came minus the owners manual, which has prompted me to use online manuals, ( from reputable sources I might add.) BUT! It's very confusing, what I'm reading from these online owners manuals, differs from what equipment is actually supposed to be on my car. It's most frustrating, because without a manual actually in front of me, I'm driving blind so to speak, (excuse the pun.) So, I'm gonna' be asking you guys lots of questions, (if that's okay?) And my first question? Where's the best place to get an owners manual that relates to the model of vehicle that I have? Thanks, and I hope I've not taken too many liberties. docshoog Quote
paul.h Posted October 23, 2015 Posted October 23, 2015 Welcome to the forum. You can read/copy/print the car handbook but it may need to be done in sections from here http://service.citroen.com/ddb/You may need to select your language and then your car. Your dealer may also be able to get a copy. Sometimes owners put them in one of the drawers under a front seat so it is worth looking there. Citroen handbooks cover the full model range so some features that are on exclusive models only will still be included. If you need a workshop manual Haynes do not do one but if you are ok with French then the RTA one is good but the best one is the Citroen service box from such as ebay which comes on 3 dvds and is put on your pc. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rta-B737-Citro%C3%ABn-Depuis-2008/dp/2726873758/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1445606693&sr=8-1&keywords=9782726873755 Quote
