jonlea Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 On my Grand C4 in the satnav menu there is a tab callled Traffic alerts. If you switch this on you can choose an area "around your vehicle". However having chosen this option, I still get traffic alerts from miles away - and I mean up to 100 miles. Is there anything that can be done to make them very local to the area in which I am actually driving? Quote
paul.h Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Welcome to the forum. From the Navidrive handbook with our 2007 C5, under the Traffic Information menu the Trafic information can be filtered geographically and the distance set. I would need to try this on the car to see what the options are but it is giving written alerts not too far away. This is separate to the verbal ones given from radio stations. It book advises in an area of dense traffic to have the filter set at 5 or 10 km, in normal traffic set it at 20 km and for long motorway journeys to set it at 100 km. Quote
