Goldfazer Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Hi, bought the Mrs a 2008 C4 VTR+ a month ago from an indy dealer. Lovely car! However, she kept complaining that it pulled to the left - it went back a couple of times and they finally found a worn track rod end (but not an MOT failure). Still wasn't happy, so they've taken the car back and charged us a ridiculous amount for the miles we've done :( Anyway, there's a C4 2.0 HDi 5 door nearby which would be nice, however, the previous dealer said that: You can't do 4 wheel alignment on Citroens (C4s?)All Citroens pull to the left So, ignoring any slight drift due to the camber, is he right on either of those 2 statements? Cheers. Quote
paul.h Posted November 24, 2015 Posted November 24, 2015 Not sure abut the alignment but on a C5 post a member reported having it done and then getting problems since the rear wheels are not the same width apart as the fronts - so the alignment should not have been done. Disagree that all Citroens pull to the left - in the rest of Europe they would then pull to the middle of the road. Oddly though our current 2015 C4 pulls very slightly to the left on motorways so at the next service it will be looked at under warranty. This has not been the case for other Citroens we've had/have - 2 C3s, 2 C5s, Zsara Picasso, 2 other C4s although one did this after an accident repair but it then had a different tyre at the front left.
