Doenutty Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Hello, I recently purchased a 59 plate C2 VTR and cannot seem to change the time/date on the display? I have tried - 1 - Following the owners manual (online) and checking for two buttons either side of the display - there are none2 - The stereo is a Pioneer Mosfet 50wx4 and I tried following the instructions through the manual for setting the time but it didn't do anything - the instructions said to press the source button to switch it off (I tried pressing source on the display as well as the source button at the end of the control stick to the right of the steering wheel) which I did. Then it said to repeatedly press the 'audio' button but I could be misinterpreting something as I couldn't find anything that said 'Audio'. So I tested by pressing every other button but no joy.3 - I also reset the trip computer and pressed in the button while on the date display page to see if that triggered anything but it didn't. Really not sure what else to try now... Any ideas? Thanks! Quote
paul.h Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Welcome to the forum. It looks as if the original radio has been replaced with an aftermarket one. On many Citroens the date/time is set through the menu button on the radio and then personalisation and configuration but it appears your radio is different. If you look in the handbook under In Brief and then Multi function displays, the adjustments are covered there but only for the original radio but it also includes using the 3 buttons at the side of the display. Doenutty Posted January 8, 2016 Author Posted January 8, 2016 Thanks!I don't have a handbook unfortunately as it didn't come with one, I have pieced together bits of information from a LOT of internet searching. I also don't have three buttons at the side of the display? I may well be stuck with a clock that is an hour ahead and a calendar that is two days ahead.... Would it be worth taking it to my local Citroen dealer to see if they have any ideas do you think? Quote
paul.h Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 You can read/copy/print in sections the handbook from here, you may need to change the language first and then select your car http://service.citroen.com/ddb/ You could try a dealer but if it is not an original radio they may not be able to help. You could put a picture on here first of the clock and radio to see if anyone can help. Quote
